Resources Minister Madeleine King is expected to hold crisis talks with miners over the coming days.

It follows reports price pressures have put Western Australia’s mineral industry under pressure.

The crisis talks come after lenders withdrew a $760 million loan to fund a new lithium mine in WA.

Twiggy Forrest has also announced he will close his nickel mines across the state.

The recent changes have put more than 1,000 jobs in the state on the chopping block.
